TEXO CUP 2024 Football Tournament – An Inspiring Comeback

On the morning of January 12, 2025, at the Thanh Xuan Cultural House Football Field, TEXO Investment and Consultancy Joint Stock Company held the opening ceremony for the TEXO CUP 2024 internal football tournament. After a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the return of TEXO CUP brought a fresh wave of excitement, fostering unity and a passion for sports among all company employees.

TEXO CUP is not only an annual sports event celebrating the company’s founding anniversary but also a meaningful cultural activity within the series of events welcoming the New Year 2025 and the Lunar New Year (Year of the Snake). The tournament serves as an opportunity for employees to improve their health, unwind after intense work hours, and strengthen the bonds within the TEXO community.

This year’s tournament features 4 combined teams:

  • Team 1: Center 3 + Center 6
  • Team 2: Center 7 + Center 10
  • Team 3: Center 5 + Center 8 + Center 9
  • Team 4: Center 1 + Center 2 + Center 12

The matches took place in an atmosphere of excitement, with the participation of the company’s leadership, department heads, the organizing committee, and a large number of enthusiastic supporters. The players’ wholehearted dedication, their relentless effort on the field, and the passionate cheers from the audience were key factors contributing to the tournament’s great success.

Deputy General Director Nguyen Quang Vinh presented the TEXO CUP 2025 championship trophy to the joint team of Center 3 + 6.
The team from Centers 5 + 8 + 9 won the Second Prize.
The team from Centers 1 + 2 + 12 won the Third Prize.
The Fair Play Award went to the team from Centers 7 + 10
